Geeky Tattoo Design

Introduction:

Over the last few years something strange has been happening in the world. The geek is becoming popular! With the huge growth in the popularity of being a geek, we've recently seen an increase in the number of geek tattoos showing up.

Geek tattoos are nothing new, with some citing geeks getting original star wars based tattoos back in the 70's as the start of the trend. With more and more people getting geek tattoos, it seems people now try and out do each other with how geeky their body art is.

Marriages and fame:

Marriages, fame, and fortune… everything comes and goes. That is, everything except a tattoo. Tattoos are permanently inked onto your body. So when someone gets a geeky tattoo, it just makes it all the more special.

Can you tell what video game tattoo is on the lower back of the woman above? What about the image to the right? Have you seen that coding language before?

I Am A Geek

I'm a geek and I like tattoos. Put them together and you get Geek Tattoos! I have wasted countless hours searching for the funniest and craziest geek tattoos out there and thought hmmm... maybe other people would like to waste time too. So below are some photos and lots of great links to sites that have even more photos of geek tattoos.

MONITALY MOCCASINS

If you saw my collection you would understand my taste in unusual shoes. While moccasins are not a new style since they originated from the Native Americans, they are somewhat unusual for the modern city dweller. But they are becoming popular come Winter time. A moccasin is a slipper made of deer skin or other soft leather and was originally made up of one piece of leather for both the sides and the bottom. Spring forward to 2011 and Monitaly have reintroduced a few beautiful pairs of their own, quite similar to a loafer.

If you're not into a low cut slipper style how about their boot and moccasin hybrid? It's not nearly cold enough for these in our parts but I love these as a casual alternative to an Ugg boot. What do you think of these?
