Weirdest Canned Food

Canning is a method of preserving food in which the food contents are processed and sealed in an airtight container. Canning provides a typical shelf life ranging from one to five years, although under specific circumstances a freeze-dried canned product, such as canned, dried lentils, can last as long as 30 years in an edible state. The process was first developed as a French military discovery by Nicolas Appert in 1810. The packaging prevents microorganisms from entering and proliferating inside.

These images are evidence that people put almost anything into cans. Damn, some of these are really ugly.

Mexico's Drug Tunnels

Around 17 tons of marijuana have been seized after the discovery of a tunnel which police said was one of the most significant drug-smuggling passages ever found on the U.S-Mexico border. The tunnel stretched around 400 yards between warehouses in San Diego and Tijuana, was lined with wood supports and equipped with lighting and ventilation systems.

Authorities announced the bust at a news conference yesterday near packages of dope festooned with labels of Captain America, Sprite and Bud Light - the coded markings used to identify the owners.

17 tons of marijuana... It's awesome dude...

Internet Fandom Statistic

Twilight has fans more than population of Malaysia? I don't want to live on this planet anymore. Sigh...

If you wonder what is fandom - Fandom is the community that surrounds a tv show/movie/book etc. Fanfiction writers, artists, poets, and cosplayers are all members of that fandom. Fandoms often consist of message boards, livejournal communities, and people. Example - The Harry Potter fandom has some of the most diverse fans, from eight year olds to thirty somethings.

If you think your commute to work and around town is terrible then think again. It's nothing compared to the chaotic but somehow mesmerizing traffic in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Rob Whitworth took 10,000 photos from all around Ho Chi Minh City and put them together for this awesome video.

Everyone who has visited Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam knows part of the magic (love it or hate it) is in the traffic.

How To Demolished Building In China

While the story behind the demolition of this apartment is quiet interesting, I was more interested in knowing how the hell they manage to get two excavators up there? I believe there might be three possibilities. 1 - They use crane to lift the excavator up. 2 - They dismantle the excavators into pieces and assemble it back. 3 - They actually store the excavators from the beginning. Chinese is great. Hohoohooohoho...

Excavators dismantle Chinese highrise from the top down. This 18-story residential tower in Taizhou, Zheijiang Province. The building was completed in January and was hailed as a luxury development with a 'perfect' ocean view. But months later it was found to be leaning.

Experts have suggested the ground beneath the highrise sank because the reclaimed land it was built on is unable to support such large buildings. Hu Zhizhong, an architectural researcher at Taizhou University, said reclaimed land commonly 'settles unevenly', but the sinking in this building was so severe that it could be that the land is simply unsuitable.

Man-Powered Ferris Wheel

Pleasure Wheels that were built out of wood and were powered by hand date back to the early 17th century and actually preceded George Washington Gale Ferris' marvel that appeared in 1893 at the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago. Ferris' wheel was powered by two 100-horsepower engines, but it looks like in this town in India, the original method works best.

Introducing, the one and only, India's man-powered Merry-Go-Round.

Lady Gaga's Ridiculous Outfits Of 2011

Lady Gaga's public appearances have become somewhat of a commodity. Whatever she wears next is bound to be edgy, a dash of crazy and pretty much all terrifying. With razor sharp finger nails (and cheek bones), plenty of pasties, and even some blood, she did not let us down in 2011. We can always count on Lady Gaga to wear something outrageous when she does just about anything.

In fact, by the time this year ends, I'm are pretty certain that she already has worn costumes more outrageous than the ones listed here. Collection of most ridiculous and weird Lady Gaga fashion of year 2011 with plenty more to be see in 2012.

Please be remind. Viewer discretion is advised.

Lady Gaga's Bad Romance Cover By Chinese Elderly

The most bizarre cover I've ever seen. On China's most popular satellite channel Hunan TV, playing to an audience of hundreds of millions of Chinese people worldwide, a group of retired senior citizens (over)cheerfully beat out a version of Lady Gaga's Bad Romance in Changsha's local dialect, accompanied by miniskirted Chinese musicians playing glass traditional Chinese instruments.

Chinese senior citizen style and flair to Gaga's slamming track, proving that you're never too old to rock the party.

Street Fighter's Ryu Hate His Car

We've always been a little curious about what our favorite video game characters get up to after the story comes to close. Street Fighter's Ryu has apparently fallen on hard times and been forced to take up a job at the local scrap yard. Either that, or the next installment of the fighting franchise will feature a host of menacing compacts for our hero to battle.

The video features one very determined martial artist as he takes out some pent-up aggression on an otherwise innocent four-door. There's an appropriate amount of carnage as the fighter proceeds to dismantle the vehicle with nothing but his boundless fury and a fancy headband.

We're guessing that he had some off-camera assistance with some of the vehicle's components, but that doesn't necessarily lessen the entertainment value. We can all use a little Rage Against the Machine to get through the week.

Inappropriate Children Coloring Books

Parents, if you think your children should be aware of something but don't feel like explaining, not to worry. You can just shove a coloring book at them instead, because coloring books are the best way for children to learn.

We admit, we were pretty surprised when we heard about Occupy, a 36-page coloring book about the Occupy Wall Street movement. But with a little further investigation, we realize that we shouldn't have been, inappropriate coloring books, from the political to the sexual to the just plain weird, are to be found all over. Some of these, The Gangsta Rap Coloring Book, for instance, are meant to be satirical, but others are woefully, awkwardly serious.

List of incredibly inappropriate coloring books for children and adults.

If you've been feeling a burning desire to get out the crayons and color in scenes of police officers surveying protestors at Zuccotti Park, Guy Fawkes-faced protesters carrying the Golden bull, or, um, Rachel Maddow and Bill O'Reilly, this is the book for you. And by the way you guys, no matter how much you try to push the grown-up coloring book novel angle, no one's fooled. Coloring books are for children. Just like Occupy Wall Street, right guys?

Speaking of really inappropriate coloring books about serious American events (in downtown Manhattan, no less), this year also brought us the 9/11 coloring book We Shall Never Forget 9/11: The Kids' Book of Freedom. With this nifty book, children can color in a scene of a member of SEAL Team Six taking aim at an Islamic woman trying to protect Osama bin Laden, and read passages like this one: Children, the truth is, these terrorist acts were done by freedom-hating radical Islamic Muslim extremists. These crazy people hate the American way of life because we are free and our society is free. We must be prepared to know and understand the truth. America is free. Yikes.

Middle Finger Salute - Cute Kids

There are a lot of reasons for the famous one-finger salute. Some people do it as an act of road rage, while others do it to say fuck-off. Others do it because in some cases, it is easier to stick up a finger than to be witty with words. Some people even do it as a joke, or as confirmation that he or she is a genuine douchebag. There are many different reasons why people choose to use this universal gesture.

We've all been there as a little kid, you see someone doing something and you emulate it. Whether or not these little buggers know what they're communicating or not it still stands that never has the middle finger been so adorable.

How Much Internet World Weight?

Did you know that the our Internet world weighs about 50 grams?

It's an entertaining look at the concept of data actually possessing some weight, although we can't really measure the weight of an individual data point, when taken altogether we get something to the effect of something that does weigh something. Got that?

Anyhow, the strawberry looks great...
